Biography

The Goodbye Letter was a 4 piece melodic rock band featuring Chad Waldrup (vocals, guitar), Robin Moore (bass, vocals), Chris Susi (guitar) and Shawn Skipper (drums). they were influenced by such bands as Hum, Quicksand, Mineral and Starmarket.

The Goodbye Letter formed in mid-2000 and broke up only a short year later. In that year they were able to complete two short tours, one with headliners, Jeremiah's Grotto. In their short existence, they were able to record 8 songs for us, making them theory 8's first release.

Since breaking up, Chad Waldrup went on to release his own instrumental album entitled of sinking ships and is more popularly known as the current guitar player in a little band called Hopesfall. Shawn Skipper now plays in a band called the Mid April Romance in North Carolina.

The Goodbye Letter's debut EP is 8 songs full of heartfelt emotion. To be honest, it's "emo" before it suddenly got popular again and started popping up all over MTV and billboard.
