In Clover is a three piece indie rock band from Waldorf, MD, featuring Justin Kline (vocals, guitar), Jamie McLane (drums) and Dan Wax (bass). The band has released 2 independent EP's entitled "Sailing the Seas of Forgetfulness" and "The Aurora and the Downfall" before releasing their first project with theory 8 records in the fall of 2002, the split EP between themselves and Movies With Heroes. Their newest project, their first full length album entitled Omniocea will be available through theory 8 records in June 2003.

In Clover was founded in the fall of 2000 when Justin and Jamie decided to put together a studio project. A few months later, the guys decided to make a real band out of it and added Dan to the lineup...In Clover was born.

In 2002, In Clover released a split EP with Movies With Heroes. Buzzgrinder.com said, "In Clover is also what I would consider a 'gateway band,' but they employ a more subtle stream of influences. The vocals are simply gorgeous, and are at times accompanied by carefully placed harmonies. Like MWH, In Clover is heavily supported by stirring melodies that are every bit as good as you could hope for."

Drawing on influences as varied as U2, Sixpence None The Richer, Nirvana and Radiohead, In Clover are setting out to define their own style with the release of "Omniocea". After quickly recording 3 independent albums in less than two years, the band is looking forward to taking their time on "Omniocea" and, as Justin says about recording the new songs, "...we stepped 'out of the box' when we put these songs together. These new songs are more laid back sounding, while some are more aggressive than some of the heavier songs we've recorded. Over all our songs have matured, and I think that Omniocea will speak for itself." Dan quickly agrees, "Every record we do there is a considerable amount of growth as we find the niche in our style. We are very proud of the songs and feel I this album is our best work yet."

In less than two years, the guys have shared the stages with many acts including Further Seems Forever, Q and Not U, Brandtson and Two Thirty Eight. They have also performed at Furnace Fest 2002 and on the New Band Stage at Cornerstone Festival 2001. The band will be making a repeat performance at Cornerstone 2003, this year they will be featured on the Decapolis stage as part of the theory 8 showcase. In Clover are no strangers to publicity either having been on several compilation albums including The Velvet Blue Music Unsigned Band Compilation 4, the Stepping Stone Compilation from the Militia Group and in 2003 they will be featured on the new MADE Clothing Compilation that will be for sale on the Good Charlotte/New Found Glory tour.
