Movies With Heroes is a 3 piece indie rock band from Lancaster, PA.  Movies With Heroes have been rocking around the Eastern United States, playing clubs, basements and major music festivals like NXNW, Cornerstone and PMC.

Also in that time, MWH has shared the stage with many bands including the Promise Ring, Dashboard Confessional, Burning Airlines, Pedro the Lion, Cursive and Rainer Maria.

MWH are hooking serious music lovers with their brand sweet, emotional, melodic indie rock, compared to groups as varied as Built To Spill, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate and more. They take an established genre (in this case indie rock and pop-rock), and they successfully sculpt it into a sound that is generally approachable to a wider audience. If the outcome is a success, then the listeners will normally explore a wider range of music (as opposed to the crap they are so accustomed to subjecting themselves to).

Movies With Heroes released a split EP with In Clover in the Fall of 2002. Since then, the band has moved on to work with The Bill Power Agency and Urban Achiever Records.
