Caitlin Rose's Dead Flowers album is now available in digital format on Bandcamp.
The album will also be available on iTunes in the next few weeks, but here is what we like about Bandcamp.
First, the album is only $5 for seven songs. And you can download the first track Shotgun Wedding for free if you pass along a valid email address.
Second, you can stream the entire album online. Forget those 30 second clips elsewhere. With Bandcamp you can hit play and check out the entire album before purchasing.
Third, you can select what type of audio file you prefer (mp3, AAC, FLAC, etc).
Stream and download Dead Flowers now!
Enjoy!

The Privates new EP Motion is available for purchase now on Bandcamp.
We love Bandcamp because you can stream the entire EP before you purchase. And, you can grab the title track, Motion, for free in exchange for an email address.
We are all very proud of this EP release. It takes a lot to make these albums and whenever one is released we feel very proud. Like we're sending one of baby birds out of the nest and into the world.
The album download cost $5 and a small investment on your part allows us to continue to introduce you to great bands like The Privates and more new music in the future.
The physical copy of the EP will be available at the release party on Friday, April 3rd at the Basement in Nashville. Also playing are he Hotpipes and The Garland Sisters.

theory 8 is happy to announce the upcoming release of the self titled debut EP from Shoot The Mountain.
The EP will contain six new tracks and will be available on May 16th with a release show at The Basement in Nashville. Totally Snake will open.
Band bios are overrated and barely read, so, just go with this from the Holly House site: Shoot The Mountain started as a country band called The Jigsaw Mountain Boys, and one day the guys decided to change things up a bit. Now STM is into rocking hard, dancing around, and time traveling.
Time traveling people. Time.traveling.
For more information and music visit Shoot The Mountain's myspace.
Shoot The Mountain's next performance will be April 9th in Nashville at The End with Appleseed Cast.

And I was thinking I should post those links in case anyone who reads this site is interested in being friends or following me or checking out new music I like.

Happy Holidays from myself and theory 8.
2008 was a busy year for us and I wanted to give everyone a little gift before calling it a year.
I put together a little collection of music featuring all of the artists I work with, both on the record label side and on the artist management side to give away to anyone interested.
You will find 10 free tracks to listen to over the holidays. All I ask is that if you like a particular song, you email your friends and tell them about it.
Be sure to make it to the last two songs in the mix. I emailed Caitlin and Keegan and said "Can you have a holiday song ready for a free mix I'm giving away next week?" and they both turned in something amazing, a song written and performed by Keegan and a cover of Roy Orbison's Pretty Paper by Caitlin.
And a big thank you to the following people:
Michael Eades - our amazing web designer and person who patiently puts up with my constant inquiries about this crazy world wide web we live with.
Brett Miotti - he designed the art for this download and I think it turned out great. Hit him up for design work if needed.
Happy Holidays,
Hartley
