Over the course of 2009 and 2010, And the Relatives recorded their debut LP Green Machinery — their most thoughtful and intricate effort to date — in Beaird’s home studio, Eastwood Salon. The record, which has already earned ATR comparisons to The Walkmen, Guided by Voices and Spoon, is slated for release in October.
